There are some events that occur in the cosmic due to the positions of constellation and planets in our galaxy. One of the event is Arudra darshan. In Hindu astrology we have 27 nakshatras (constellation) from Aswini to Revathi, among this Thiruvadirai Orion is the biggest and brightest.
On Arudra day, Orion constellation form a design in the sky that resembles the dance of Lord Nataraja (see picture as on 08-01-2013, released by NASA). The original picture is super imposed with the image of Lord Nataraja for better understanding. This will appear in the North-East (Esanya) direction in our galaxy. During that night, Moon, Earth and Orion constellation will be in a straight vertical line in their position. This phenomenal event in the sky produces a strong magnetic radiation from Esanya direction - Satyaloka (spiritual location of higher celestial beings).
On this day the rays from the combination of Sodium, Magnesium and Iron formed by Orion constellation directly affects our body and brain positively. During this period, performing puja & meditation gives tremendous spiritual and mental strength that helps wipe out past life karma (blueprint) from our subconscious level.
